SILO takes place over the course of one day on a small farm in middle America. It begins as a day like any other -- work galore and a rush to harvest the crop before it's too late. Tragedy strikes when a teenage boy finds himself the victim of an unimaginable accident.

Working on the farm that day is Cody Rose and his best friend, Lucha Mendoza. They go about their day as per usual; early mornings and long hours. With the sun beginning to set, it is time to close down for the day, when a common maneuver results in an unthinkable catastrophe. While the boys are 'walking down' the soggy grain in an industrial grain silo, another employee activates the auger, sucking Cody into a whirlpool of corn. Instantly, it becomes a race against time to rescue him before the sinking grain claims his life.
