A Masand was a representative and tithe collector in Sikhism. He was an officially appointed missionary minister representing the Sikh Guru, who baptized conversions to Sikhism, and collected dasvandh ("the tenth" of income) as an offering to the Sikh community and religious establishment. After Sometime all the Masand started misusing their powers.They Started doing all the bad Things through their power like drinking,assaulting women and corrupting the money collected for empowerment of community. After that there was continuous fight between sikhs and masand from 1708- 1947 . In 1947 sikh community finished the existence of masands. In 1984 the condition of punjab was worst and with the help of politics masands came back to existence to finish the existence of terrorists and in those new masands the one most powerful masand took birth
