Bajre Da Sitta is the story of two sisters Roop Kaur & Basant Kaur set in the 1960's era. Both are born in a zamidaar's family. They both sing melodiously. Bhagel Singh who is the employee of music company listens both sisters singing and seeks permission from their father to get them to sing for his company. He agrees on one condition, their identity should remain hidden. Their song becomes a hit and they get famous all over the world. Father gets irritated from their song and fans. He gets Roop Kaur married to a man who hates music and singing just like him. But talent is like a bubble, it rises to the top.
