Guridiyal Singh Cheema is a 65-year old respectable billionaire in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and is fondly called "Daarji" by one and all. He is a hardcore Punjabi at heart and longs to visit Punjab, but is unable to do so because of health issues. His niece, Nimmi, is his sole responsibility. He wants her to marry a Punjabi guy, but she already has a boyfriend named Rick, who Daarji doesn't approve of. Daarji offers her a proposal: if she'll marry a Punjabi man, she'll inherit his property. Taken aback she devises a plan and leaves for India. On reaching Punjab Nimmi gets to know that her Massi has already fixed her wedding with the Sarpanch's son, Jeet. She then meets Arjan who would do anything for money and makes a deal to marry him instead. When they go to Malaysia, Daarji accepts them wholeheartedly and ends up making them both heirs of his will. A war erupts between the two creating a game of cat-and-mouse game where only one will win.
