Kevin Hart wants to join Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam
Kevin Hart could appear in 'Black Adam' alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
The 40-year-old actor and the former wrestler have collaborated on a number of films in recent years - including 'Central Intelligence' and 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' - and want to team up again, this time in the upcoming DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movie.
Dwayne is set to star as the titular Black Adam - who is a recurring enemy of Shazam - in the film, and has said he's keen to find a part for Kevin to play.
The 47-year-old actor said: "We've got to find the part for Kevin in Black Adam within the DC Universe."
Kevin, 40, also suggested that he had "discussed" the prospect with Dwayne.
The 'Ride Along' star said: "We've already discussed it. We talked about it earlier, so we're finding that out. No matter what, he's not going to do it and not put me in it. How selfish would that be?"
Dwayne was originally meant to play the character in the 'Shazam!' movie - which was released earlier this year and starred Zachary Levi in the titular role - before a decision was made to introduce the villain in his own standalone story first.
The star has since suggested that his "superhero dreams have come true" now he will join the DC Universe, something that he wanted since childhood.
Dwayne wrote on Instagram: "Now, years later as a man, with the same DNA I had as a kid - my superhero dreams have come true. I'm honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and it's a true pleasure to become, BLACK ADAM."
Meanwhile, Kevin has been recovering from a horrific car accident, which left him with serious spinal injuries.
He admitted that he couldn't "wipe his a**" after the crash and needed the help of his wife Eniko Parish during his immediate recovery.
He said: "I could not f***ing move.
"I could not wipe my a** ... I literally couldn't do none of that ... It makes you realise you really are helpless. There was nothing I could do."
