Landmark EXTRAS Terms & Conditions

Please read the following so that you understand the Terms and Conditions of the LANDMARK EXTRAS loyalty rewards program and membership, which you must accept before you can enroll in and participate in the Program (as later defined).  If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you may not enrol in and participate in the Program. 

A. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
LANDMARK EXTRAS is a loyalty rewards program (the “Program” or “LANDMARK EXTRAS”) that is made available to you and operated by LANDMARK CINEMAS LP. The LANDMARK EXTRAS loyalty rewards program offers membership in three different rewards programs:

  • Movie Fan: FREE to join. Members earn 5 PTS for each $1 spent on eligible movie purchases and may redeem their points for movie admission, concession, and movie merchandise purchases.
  • Movie Insider: $20.00 per year + applicable taxes. Member receives one FREE ticket credit with membership purchase and renewal. Member earns 7.5 PTS for each $1 spent on eligible movie purchases and may redeem their points for movie admission, concession, and movie merchandise purchases.
  • Movie Club: $9.99 per month + applicable taxes. Member receives one FREE ticket credit per month with membership purchase and renewal. Member earns 5 PTS for each $1 spent on eligible movie purchases and may redeem their points for movie admission, concession, and movie merchandise purchases. Movie Club members can use up to ten (10) available Monthly Admission Credits in a single transaction (transactions limited to three (3) per day). Member has use of unlimited Member Admissions at their monthly membership price at their membership price for their personal use and the use of their Guest with a limit of two (2) General Admission tickets per transaction, to a maximum of three (3) transactions per day. Members receive a 20% discount on their concession purchases (excluding alcoholic beverages), additional restrictions may apply. Points earned for concession purchases are at the member rate and are calculated on the pre-tax discounted subtotal of the transaction rounded to the nearest dollar. Member 20% discount cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or discount.

Each membership - Movie Fan, Movie Insider and Movie Club - offers rewards and benefits specific to the terms and conditions of each membership. To become a member, a membership fee and a minimum term of membership may be required. By enrolling in the Program and your continued membership in the Program, including earning or redeeming “LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards points”, as further defined below, in a LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards membership account ("Account"), individuals (“you”, “your”, “Member(s)”) agree that you have read and agree to these Program Terms and Conditions, as may be amended, (the “Terms and Conditions”), and you further consent to LANDMARK CINEMAS’ collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purpose of enrolling in and participating in the Program in accordance with LANDMARK CINEMAS’ Privacy Policy (www.landmarkcinemas.com/privacy-policy), as may be amended from time to time, and incorporated by reference in these Terms and Conditions.
Subject to applicable law, LANDMARK CINEMAS LP specifically reserves the right to amend, alter, withdraw, suspend or terminate (a “Change”) the Program, the Sponsors or Rewards Partners, any Account, any Benefit, the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points structure (including the number of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points you can earn or redeem), the price of membership (if applicable) or any other award/reward or these Terms and Conditions on written notice to you by email to the email address associated with your EXTRAS membership account fourteen (14) days prior to a “Change” or/and by posting any such Changes on our Website(www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras ) and your continued access to and participation in the Program means that you have agreed to the Changes. 

The capitalized terms, “Sponsors”, “Rewards Partners”, “Account”, “Benefit” and “Points” have the meanings assigned to them below.
Any such Change, subject to any restrictions under applicable law, may affect LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, which you may have previously accumulated, and any future accumulation (earning) or redemption of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points.
Enrollment, membership, and all related Benefits of the Program are offered in the sole discretion of LANDMARK CINEMAS LP.
Interpretation:  All uses of “including” or “includes” in these Terms and Conditions means includes or including but not limited to.

B. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM

  1. To participate in the Program (which includes all uses that include earning or redeeming LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards points awarded in accordance with the terms of the Rewards Schedule (the “Points”), participating in special offers or promotions, and taking advantage of Benefits), you must enroll to become a Member. To enroll please click Here. (www.landmarkextras.com/extras) Membership is free (for the Movie Fan membership level) and no purchase is required to become a Member, to start earning points. To start redeeming points, and maintain your membership, you are required to Register (www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras/register) your physical membership card, obtained in theatre, select a membership type, create an account, My Account, and successfully complete payment, if applicable. If you do not register your physical membership card, obtained in theatre, select a membership type, and create an account, and successfully complete payment if required, all points will be removed from the account 120 days from the date points were last earned, and the account will be closed. Paid premium membership types - Movie Inside and Movie Club - are subject to additional terms and conditions.  Joining such premium membership types is optional.   2. Membership in the Program is limited to natural persons only. Businesses or organizations, including but not limited to, corporations, sole proprietorships, trusts, partnerships, charities, not-for-profit or other entities, are not eligible for a membership in the LANDMARK EXTRAS loyalty rewards program.
  3. You must enroll individually and provide your full legal name (and provide additional information as required for us to administer the Program) upon enrollment in the Program. You may have only one open Account at any given time. Membership is solely for the benefit of the Member, and unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points will not be issued on the purchase of products or services by anyone other than the Member.
  4. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points are personal and cannot be assigned, traded, or otherwise transferred without the prior written consent of LANDMARK CINEMAS LP or as otherwise permitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points may be transferred in the event of the death of a Member, provided that the recipient(s) is (are) existing Members or are otherwise eligible to become a Member and create an Account for the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points to be deposited.  LANDMARK CINEMAS LP reserves the right to request any documents it deems necessary to ensure that the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points are transferred to the Member’s heirs or beneficiaries. Any assignment, transfer, trade, or other conversion in violation of these Terms and Conditions will be void and may, at the sole discretion of LANDMARK CINEMAS, result in the loss of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Membership and/or the cancellation of the affected LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points or Account, as the case may be.
  5. To earn and redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, an individual must become a Member.
  • Online at www.landmarkextras.com/extras
    • You may become a Landmark EXTRAS loyalty rewards member online and start earning and redeeming EXTRAS loyalty points for your Landmark movie-going purchases by selecting your preferred membership type, creating an account, My Account, and successfully completing payment, if applicable. You will be issued a digital membership card which may be used as a mobile barcode, (each a “Membership Card”). This Membership Card will be associated with one Account number.
  • At Landmark Cinemas
  • You may also start earning points immediately at Landmark Cinemas by taking a Landmark Extras membership card and presenting the card at the beginning of your Landmark movie-going purchases and providing your email address and mobile phone number. To start redeeming your points you are required to register your membership card number, select a membership type, create an account, My Account, and successfully complete payment, if applicable. You will be issued a digital membership card which may be used a mobile barcode, (each a “Membership Card”). This Membership Card will be associated with one Account number.   1. LANDMARK EXTRAS loyalty rewards membership is a privilege which can be revoked by LANDMARK CINEMAS in its sole discretion, but subject to applicable law, at any time and without compensation for any reason including without limitation, for (i) fraud, abuse or breach of any of the Terms and Conditions, the Offer Terms, as defined below, and/or the Program; and/or (ii) any other actions contrary to the interests of LANDMARK CINEMAS, the Program, and/or the interests of the Members, Sponsors or Partners.
  2. Each Member shall be responsible for promptly advising LANDMARK CINEMASof any change to his/her name, mailing address, e-mail address or any other required membership enrollment data to ensure that such information remains up to date. We will provide notices or other communications based on the information that you last provided to us for enrollment purposes. Means of providing this information may be found Here landmarkcinemas.com/extras/FAQS . A Member may not sell, exchange, give, charge, or otherwise dispose of any LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points (other than as permitted under these Terms and Conditions). LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points have no monetary value whatsoever and cannot under any circumstances form the basis of a monetary claim against LANDMARK CINEMAS, a Sponsor or Rewards Partner and cannot be converted to cash. There may be circumstances, such a separate offer provided to you, where a Member may be responsible for any taxes applicable to LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards in accordance with the terms and conditions of that separate offer.
  • While LANDMARK CINEMAS uses reasonable efforts to ensure that your LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Point balance is accurate when you check your Account, there may be a delay between the time an eligible transaction is processed and the time it is reflected in your Account including the time that your Points balance is updated. The number of points, based on your membership type, for eligible purchases, will automatically be added your account 24HRS after your movie’s posted showtime. Neither LANDMARK CINEMAS nor its Sponsors or Rewards Partners shall be responsible for any delay in receipt of Points earned or inaccurate Account balances. Additional information regarding earning and redeeming rewards may be reviewed Here landmarkcinemas.com/extras/FAQS. You may cancel your Membership at anytime by contacting Landmark Cinemas’ Guest Services by phone at 1-800-378-2535; via email at [email protected];or by logging into your account and selecting cancel. If you cancel your Membership:
      • Landmark Extras Movie Fan
        • Non-registered membership card number - all points will be removed from the account 120 days from the date points were last earned, and the account will be closed.
        • Unused rewards Points in your Account will expire 24 months after issuance.
        • Unused rewards Points in your account will be forfeited at time of cancellation.
      • Landmark Extras Movie Insider
  • MEMBERSHIP - If you cancel, do not renew your annual Movie Insider membership, or we cannot process your annual membership due to an invalid payment method associated with your Account, subsequent of notification via the email address associated with your account, you will automatically become a FREE Landmark Extras Movie Fan member
  • ADMISSION CREDITS - You will retain use of your annual ticket credit in your Account for a period of 6 months from the day following your last day of membership in good standing. Your Account will automatically be changed to a Free LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Loyalty Account and the ticket credit(s) accumulated in your Account will be transferred.
  • POINTS - You will automatically be changed to a Free LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Loyalty Account and the total number of points earned on the date of your change will be transferred to this account and these points will expire 24 months after original issuance.
      • Landmark Extras Movie Club
  • MEMBERSHIP - If you cancel, do not renew your monthly Movie Club membership, or we cannot process your monthly membership due to an invalid payment method associated with your Account, subsequent of notification via the email address associated with your account, you will automatically become a FREE Landmark Extras Movie Fan member
        • ADMISSION CREDITS - You will retain use of the ticket credit(s) in your Account for a period of 6 months from the day following your last day of membership in good standing. Your Account will automatically be changed to a LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Free Loyalty Account and the ticket credits accumulated in your Account will be transferred.
        • POINTS - Your Account will automatically be changed to a Free LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Loyalty Account and the total number of points earned on the date of your change will be transferred to this account and these points will expire 24 months after original issuance.
      • Please review our Frequently Asked Questions (www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras/faqs) for more information regarding change in membership, cancelling your membership, or failure to pay your annual (Movie Insider) or monthly (Movie Club) membership fee.

C. MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT

  1. To become a Member, you must be a legal resident of Canada (except that the Program is not available to residents of the Province of Quebec), have a valid Canadian address, a valid e-mail address and be 14 years of age or older.  
  2. To become a Member, simply Enroll (www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras) and create an Account. To create an Account, complete your profile accurately and completely, including all required fields as indicated, and complete your payment, if required.
  3. Enrollment also requires the creation of a password or a personal identification number (referred to as a "Password"). The Password is used to access your Account online. Anyone who knows your Password and Account number will have full access to your Account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy and security of your Password and for all activities that occur using your Password. You must notify LANDMARK CINEMAS immediately of any unauthorized use or disclosure of your Password. LANDMARK CINEMAS is not responsible in any way for any redemption of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points or loss arising from unauthorized use of your Password or your failure to comply with these provisions.  LANDMARK CINEMAS is not responsible for refunding any LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points redeemed due to the unauthorized access to your Account, unless caused by LANDMARK CINEMAS’ gross negligence. It is recommended that you take reasonable steps to protect your Account and your Password and change your Password regularly to prevent the unauthorized access to your Account. 
  4. By enrolling in the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Program, you consent to receive communications from LANDMARK CINEMAS, or its Sponsors, including but not limited to, information and special offers about the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Program, information and offers available from a Sponsor and/or Rewards Partner, or information and offers for products and services that we think may be of value to you.  You may withdraw your consent at any time by either updating your communication preferences through www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras or by unsubscribing from any email you receive.  Unsubscribe requests and changes to communication preferences will be completed within 10 days from date of request.
  5. The Program is not marketed to or directed towards children under 14 years of age, and children under 14 are not eligible to participate. If you enroll as a Member, you declare that you are at least 14 years or older.  Website visitors under 14 years of age may not enroll as Members. If for any reason LANDMARK CINEMAS believes a user may be under the age of 14, it reserves the right to request proof of age of such user. If such proof is not provided, or if it is discovered the user is under the age of 14, all personal information regarding that individual will be deleted from the LANDMARK CINEMAS’ system and LANDMARK CINEMAS shall remove the user from membership in the Program.
  6. Enrollment in the Program is subject to verification and will be deemed invalid if the information provided is not true and/or complete or the Member fails to meet any eligibility requirements for the Program or these Terms and Conditions.

D. EARNING LANDMARK EXTRAS REWARDS POINTS AND OTHER MEMBER BENEFITS

  • The term "LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points" means the Points that you earn are awarded to you when you use your Membership Card, as defined below, or when you take advantage of any offer or Benefit or those LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points that you redeem as described in these Terms and Conditions.
  • LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points are earned on your purchase of product and services, and at the rates set out in the Rewards Schedule (www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras/rewards), or in the terms and conditions of any Offer Terms that we provide to you when we make such offers available. Restrictions apply.
  • LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points are earned on the purchase of certain paid admission tickets, concession items and movie merchandise only at the rates described in the Rewards Schedule (www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras/rewards ) of each Landmark Extras Loyalty Rewards Program. Certain (a) LANDMARK CINEMAS’ coupons, offers, and admission passes and/or (b) unauthorized third-party coupons, offers, programs and admission passes are not eligible towards the earning of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points are issued for the purchase of the Member’s “General Admission”, “3D”, “Premium Admission” (Laser Ultra, IMAX, Extra, Xtreme, Premiere Seat) movie tickets. You can earn up to 1,000 points within a 24-hour period. Members can redeem up to 35,000 points per day.
    • Members may also be entitled to discounts, promotions, and other special offers (collectively, “Perks”) that do not relate to earning or redeeming LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points. Such Benefits may be changed or terminated with or without notice, subject to applicable law regarding notice provided for the expiry of rewards Points. 
    • LANDMARK CINEMAS LP may provide additional opportunities for Members to earn and/or redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points or participate in other Perks through third party rewards partners (“Rewards Partners”).  Offers and Perks available through Rewards Partners are time limited and subject to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of each specific Offer or Perk associated with a Rewards Partner (the “Offer Terms”).  In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and the Offer Terms, the Offer Terms will govern.  LANDMARK CINEMAS LP may also advertise offers for which Members may earn additional LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points or may redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points for additional rewards and in some cases, those offers are not provided by LANDMARK CINEMAS but instead by a Rewards Partner.
    • In theatre, LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points will be issued when your LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Account number or Membership Card (physical/digital) is presented at the beginning of any transaction and successfully scanned. If you do not have you Membership Card (physical/digital) you may still earn points by providing the phone number or email address used with the creation of your Account. To earn or redeem points for your purchases at www.landmarkcinemas.com you must be signed into your membership account, “My Account.”
    • LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points cannot be redeemed for movie tickets, concession, or any other purchase without a Membership Card (physical/digital). 
    • Any unauthorized reproduction or sharing of a Membership Card or Account number may lead to a deduction of or loss of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points in such Account, exclusion from the Program, cancellation or closure of the Account and may have additional legal consequences.
    • LANDMARK CINEMAS, a Sponsor or a Rewards Partner may refuse to record or honour LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points in your Account, or if already recorded, may cancel such LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards points, if LANDMARK CINEMAS cannot confirm that the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points were properly issued or obtained. In addition, LANDMARK CINEMAS may cancel any Account if LANDMARK CINEMAS, in its sole discretion, suspects that the Account is being used fraudulently to earn or redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, or not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or any Offer Terms, and any LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points in the Account at the time of cancellation will be forfeited.
    • If you believe that there is an error in your Account balance, you must contact LANDMARK CINEMAS’ Guest Services at 1-800-378-2535, or email [email protected] within 60 days of the date of the transaction or the Account balance will be deemed correct, except for excess LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points improperly applied to your Account. LANDMARK CINEMAS may require that Members submit documentation to support their claim.

E.  RETURNS AND/OR EXCHANGES
In the event of a return and/or exchange of any purchase for which LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, Ticket Credits or Movie Club Member Tickets were earned (or otherwise awarded) or redeemed, LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points relating to such return and/or exchange will be deducted from or returned to your Account. Your LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, Ticket Credits or Member Tickets balance will be reduced or increased by the equivalent number of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, Ticket Credits or Member Tickets earned (or otherwise awarded) or redeemed for the returned or exchanged items on the original transaction.

F.  REDEEMING LANDMARK EXTRAS REWARDS POINTS

  1. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points may be redeemed at participating locations owned or operated by LANDMARK CINEMAS LP in Canada, including theatres or via special offers and promotions in the membership levels and under the conditions and restrictions as set forth in the Rewards Schedule or such other applicable Offer Terms.
  • Members must present their Membership Card (physical or digital) or LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Account number at the beginning of their purchase transaction to earn LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points. If a member does not have their Membership Card (physical/digital) they may still earn points by providing the email address or phone number used with the creation of your Account. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points cannot be redeemed for movie tickets, concession, or any other purchase without the member’s Membership Card (physical/digital). 
  1. Your LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points balance will be reduced by the number of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points required to obtain the desired Point redemption level. Unredeemed LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points plus any LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points earned in the current transaction, will remain in your Account, subject to the “Inactive LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Membership Accounts” section below, and can be applied to subsequent transactions.
  2. LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points can only be redeemed if the required Point redemption level is reached prior to the redemption transaction.
  3. You may be required to provide proof of and/or authentication of your identity when redeeming LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points, or in the use of Movie Club admission credits or Member Admissions, or your Movie Insider Admission Credit, to protect your Account and to verify your Member status.

G. INACTIVE LANDMARK EXTRAS REWARDS MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNTS
Your Account may be made inactive if, during any 24-month period:

  1. your Membership Card was not used to earn or redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan rewards Points;
    Written notice, as required by applicable law, will be provided prior to your Account being made inactive.  If your Account is made inactive, all accumulated LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points will be forfeited and your Account closed, with or without further notice.

H. LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED MEMBERSHIP CARDS OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT

  1. You must notify LANDMARK CINEMAS immediately by calling 1-800-378-2535 or email [email protected] if your Membership Account number is lost or stolen or if someone other than you have accessed your Account. When LANDMARK CINEMAS is made aware an Account is accessed by someone other than the Member, the Account will be rendered inactive. A new Account number may be provided at LANDMARK CINEMAS’ sole discretion. The registration profile and the accumulated, unredeemed LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points will remain intact and will be transferred to the new Account number. LANDMARK CINEMAS is not responsible for any redemption made or changes made to an Account by a third party through access to your Account by anyone other than you. If a new Landmark EXTRAS membership card is requested, a new card and membership number will be issued. The new membership number will be automatically updated in your Extras account (My Account), making the previous membership card number void. You will need to manually update your new Landmark EXTRAs card number in your digital wallet by first, deleting your previous membership card, and adding your new membership card as it will not be updated automatically. 

I. TERMINATION OF OR CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM AND/OR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LANDMARK CINEMAS shall be under no obligation to continue the Program or to provide any notice of its suspension or termination, unless required by law. In addition, and subject to applicable law, LANDMARK CINEMAS may change these Terms and Conditions, any aspect of the Program including membership fee, if applicable, termination of the Program, or changes to redemption procedures or any rewards, Benefits or Rewards Partners in any respect.
Your continued enrollment and participation in the Program after the effective date of any such change is your acknowledgement that you agree to the Terms and Conditions, as modified. If you do not agree to such changes to the Program, your sole remedy is to cancel your Account.

J. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
None of LANDMARK CINEMAS, the Sponsors, Rewards Partners, each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, parents and related entities, and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”), shall assume any liability whatsoever, including without limitation, liability for any expense, loss, cost, injury, damage, accident or any other matter or thing whatsoever, however suffered or caused (including compensatory, incidental, indirect, special, punitive, consequential or exemplary damages or damages for loss of income or profits), directly or indirectly arising out of or related to the Program or by reason of: (a) the termination or suspension of or amendment to the Program in whole or in part; (b) the addition or deletion of or change to a Benefit, Rewards Partners or other features of the Program, with notice to you; (c) your participation in or inability to participate in the Program; and, (d) any unauthorized access to your Account.

LANDMARK CINEMAS has no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, or costs, however suffered or caused, directly or indirectly arising out of, or related to any offer, statement or claim made by the Sponsors and/or Rewards Partners and/or the purchase or use of any goods or services of any Sponsor and/or Rewards Partner.

Any liability LANDMARK CINEMAS may have to you, is limited to crediting your Account with the number of LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points you redeemed in connection with those circumstances, or, if no LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points were redeemed, crediting your Account with a maximum of 5,000 LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points.

By participating in this Program, you agree that: (i) you will give us the opportunity to try to resolve any issues or disputes you may have before taking legal action.  If prohibited by law, (a) all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved without resort to any form of class action; (b) any, and all, claims, judgments, and awards shall in no event include legal fees; and (c) Members shall not be permitted to obtain awards for damages other than those specified above.

K. PRIVACY - GENERAL
Protection and use of your personal information:

  1. Your membership in LANDMARK EXTRAS  is governed by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy located at www.landmarkcinemas.com. By clicking "I accept" below, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please review them carefully.
  2. We will never sell your personal information to, or share it with, ANY third-party vendors. Any offers that you receive, including offers from third parties that we think may be of interest to you, will be sent to you by LANDMARK CINEMAS.
  3. Program members are eligible for special offers from the Program provided by LANDMARK CINEMAS. You agree that we can use your contact information (including your telephone number, e-mail, or other electronic address, or physical address) so that we can contact you to offer you products and services directly. If you don't want to receive these special offers, or if you want to specify how we should contact you, you can change your preferences online at htps://www.landmarkcinemas.com/extras after you have enrolled.

L. COMMITTED TO YOUR PRIVACY
LANDMARK CINEMAS is committed to protecting your privacy. We may use any personal information collected by LANDMARK CINEMAS for the following purposes:

  • To set up and administer the LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Program including ongoing management of Accounts, to accurately record LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points and to up-date Point balances, and if applicable, payment of membership dues;
  • To process LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards redemptions, issue rewards, and confirm payment of membership dues;
  • To allow Members to participate in promotions, contests and surveys;
  • To communicate with and deliver LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards to Members, using their contact information (including your telephone number, e-mail, or other electronic address, or physical address);
  • To understand Member needs and preferences, and to provide Members with products and services that meet their needs or interests;
  • To recommend our products and services, including pre-approved credit, or the products and services of third parties we select that may be of interest to Members;
  • To provide Members with special offers and rewards from LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards and its Sponsors and Reward Partners that may be of interest to Members;
  • To prevent and investigate suspicious, unauthorized, fraudulent, illegal, and/or unlawful activity on your LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Account; and
  • To facilitate or enable any corporate or commercial transaction involving LANDMARK CINEMAS and/or its Sponsors and you, to which you have consented for the use of your personal information.

LANDMARK CINEMAS will obtain consent before using personal information for a purpose that has not been specified unless the new purpose is required by law. See the LANDMARK CINEMAS Privacy Policy at www.landmarkcinemas.com/privacy-policy/, incorporated herein by reference, for further details. If our business is transferred to a new owner, Member personal information may be transferred on a confidential basis to and considered an asset of the new owner.

M. GENERAL
The online version of these Terms and Conditions is the governing version. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and French Terms and Conditions and disclosures or other statements made about the Program, English Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern, and control.

Unless prohibited by law, any issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions or any Offer Terms, as well as any disputes between you and LANDMARK CINEMAS in connection with the Program, shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction's laws. You agree that the courts in the City of Calgary, Alberta, shall determine any matter or dispute arising under or in respect of these Terms and Conditions and/or the Program and agree that any such determination shall be brought solely and exclusively before such courts in the Province of Alberta.

These Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and any Offer Terms (if applicable) constitute the entire agreement between you and LANDMARK CINEMAS regarding your participation in the Program, your entitlement to collect and redeem LANDMARK EXTRAS rewards Points and your entitlement to any other Benefits of the Program and supersede all previous versions. Except as expressly contained in these Terms and Conditions, there are no conditions, representations, warranties, express or implied, statutory, or otherwise. When you deal with LANDMARK CINEMAS, its Sponsors or Rewards Partners over the Internet, you consent to the formation of contractual relations through electronic communications. LANDMARK CINEMAS has the final authority as to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions and as to any other questions or disputes regarding the Program.  In the event any provision in these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

REWARDS SCHEDULE

A. MOVIE FAN, MOVIE INSIDER, MOVIE CLUB - GENERAL
You may start earning points immediately when you purchase eligible LANDMARK CINEMAS’ goods and services including but not limited to movie admission tickets and concession items. You must register in the Program, pay the membership fee, if required, and complete your profile accurately and completely, including all required fields as indicated to become a Member and redeem any accumulated points. If you do not register your physical membership card, obtained in theatre, select a membership type, and create an account, and successfully complete payment if required, all points will be removed from the account 120 days from the date points were last earned, and the account will be closed.
The rate at which you earn points and the number of points that must be redeemed to purchase LANDMARK CINEMAS’ products or services, or that of its Rewards Partners, is dependent on your LANDMARK EXTRAS’ membership or the Offer Terms described.
Members earn points for each $1 (one) spent on all eligible purchases as per the points schedule described. You can earn up to 1,000 points within a 24-hour period. Points awarded for the purchase of tickets, concessions and movie merchandise are calculated based on your membership type (Movie Fan, Movie Insider, Move Club). You may review the point schedule for these purchases per membership type as described in the Rewards Schedule. Points awarded for the purchase of tickets, concessions and movie merchandise are calculated based on the pre-tax subtotal of the transaction. If the transaction has a partial dollar value, points are rounded up or down based on the amount. Transactions are rounded to the nearest whole point.

Points are not transferable between Accounts of one or more Members. If you close your paid Account and continue as a free member (Movie Fan membership level), points earned at the time of change will remain in your Account. If you are a Movie Insider or Movie Club member, any unused ticket credits issued with the payment of your membership will remain in your account for up to six (6) months.

LANDMARK EXTRA Members’ discounts or promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offer.
1. Vouchers/Third Party Coupons/Other Admission or Concession Passes or Coupons: Points are awarded with the use of third-party admission and/or concession vouchers such as COSTCO, AMA, BCCA, based on your EXTRAS membership type as detailed in this Rewards Schedule. Certain exclusions may apply. Points are not awarded for the use of Corporate Sales Bulk Tickets, Media Contest Prizing and Guest Recovery vouchers. 
2. Alcohol: Points are not awarded for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Points cannot be redeemed to purchase alcoholic beverages.
3. Gift Cards: Points are not awarded for the purchase of a Landmark Gift Card in-theatre or on-line at www.landmarkcinemas.com . Points will be awarded for movie tickets, concession items, or movie merchandise purchased with a LANDMARKCINEMAS’ gift card at a participating LANDMARK CINEMAS location at the earn rate of your LANDMARK EXTRAS membership as described in this Rewards Schedule.

4. Movie 10-Pack: Points will be awarded for movie tickets purchased with a LANDMARK CINEMAS Movie 10-Pack Card at participating LANDMARK CINEMAS’ locations at the rate of your LANDMARK EXTRAS membership as described in this Rewards Schedule. Movie 10-Pack Concession discount cannot be combined with any other Landmark Extras membership discount, or with any purchase made using Extras’ rewards points.
5. Daily Deals: Points are awarded for admission and concession bundles including but not limited to Monday Seniors’ Day, Wednesday Movie Twosome, Sunday Kid’s Day, Morning Movies, Sensory Friendly and Park the Stroller as described in this Rewards Schedule. Points cannot be redeemed for Monday Seniors’ Day, Wednesday Movie Twosome, Sunday Kid’s Day, Morning Movies, Sensory Friendly and Park the Stroller ticket and concession bundles.

6. Birthday Parties: You will earn points for your birthday party purchases at the rate of your EXTRAS membership type as described in this Rewards Schedule, certain exclusions apply.

B. MOVIE FAN
Movie Fan members earn and redeem points and enjoy membership perks as detailed in this Rewards Schedule

        • Unused rewards Points in your Account will expire 24 months after issuance.

C. MOVIE INSIDER
Members receive one free general admission ticket per year with payment of the annual membership fee. You can upgrade your ticket to a premium admission (Laser Ultra, IMAX®, Extra, Xtreme, Premiere Seating) for a small upcharge. Movie Insider members earn and redeem points and enjoy membership perks as detailed in this Rewards Schedule.

  • Membership Fee
  • Landmark Extras Movie Club
  • The membership fee and terms of enrollment will not be changed during the membership term. Landmark reserves the right to change the membership fee and the program’s terms and conditions at the time of renewal. If the membership fee and terms of enrollment are changed, Landmark will send an email notification to members prior to renewal with instructions for cancellation of the account.
  • Non-Renewal/Failed Payment
      • Landmark Extras Movie Insider
  • MEMBERSHIP - If you cancel, do not renew your annual Movie Insider membership, or we cannot process your annual membership due to an invalid payment method associated with your Account, subsequent of notification via the email address associated with your account, you will automatically become a FREE Landmark Extras Movie Fan member
  • TICKET CREDITS - You will retain use of your annual ticket credit in your Account for a period of 6 months from the day following your last day of membership in good standing. Your Account will automatically be changed to a Free LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Loyalty Account and the ticket credit(s) accumulated in your Account will be transferred.
  • POINTS - You will automatically be changed to a Free LANDMARK EXTRAS Movie Fan Loyalty Account and the total number of points earned on the date of your change will be transferred to this account and these points will expire 24 months after original issuance.
  • Renewal
      • Landmark Extras Movie Insider
  • We will charge the credit card on record for the member price, typically on the 1st day of the billing cycle. The exact billing date for the next annual billing is the date you became a Landmark Extras Movie Insider member and will be displayed in your account.
  • If the credit card on record cannot be charged, we will send an email to email associated with the account. Failing resolution and a successful payment, the membership will be canceled, and we will send an email notifying you of the cancellation, which will go into effect on the date which would have been your next billing cycle. The exact billing date for the next annual billing is the date you became a Landmark Extras member and will be displayed on your account at landmarkcinemas.com/extras.

D. MOVIE CLUB
Members receive one general admission ticket credit per month with an active Account. Points will not be awarded for the purchase of your Movie Club membership. You can upgrade your ticket to a premium admission (Laser Ultra, IMAX®, Extra, Xtreme, Premiere Seating) for a small upcharge. Unused credits roll over and never expire for active members.  Movie Club members may purchase an unlimited number of Member General Admission/3D tickets for their personal use, or the use of their Guests, each month, with a limit of two (2) General Admission tickets per transaction, per showtime, to a maximum of three (3) transactions per day, at their membership price. Points are not transferable between Accounts of one or more Members. If you close your paid Account and continue as a Free member (Movie Fan), points earned at the time of change will remain in your Account. If you are a Movie Club member, unused ticket credits will remain active for up to 6 months from date of cancellation. become void.
